This page is a listing of the minimum requirements for specific Rebel Legion costumes. Although this list is extensive, it is meant to cover the more common costumes and is not meant to be a complete list of all possible costumes that may be admitted by the Rebel Legion. If your costume is not listed here, you should consult the Legion Membership Officer (LMO) to see if it will be admissable. Changes or additions to this list may be submitted here. For easier reference, the master list has been broken down by character.

Captain Rex, Clone Trooper (animated)



Required Items:

  1. Black Undersuit
    >One or two piece black undersuit. Commonly used components include sports compression wear, warm-up suits, dance unitards, or diveskins. Undersuit must be smooth in appearance or with vertical ribbing with no labels or logos visible once the armor is on.
  2. Black Gloves
    >Black over the wrist gloves made of leather, nylon, or other low pile fabrics. Gloves must not show any labels or logos once the armor is on and cover any exposed skin.
  3. Neck Seal
    >Neck seal to be black in color with vertical ribbing or being smooth in appearance. No logos or labels are to be visible. If the seal is not incorporated as part of the undersuit, a balaclava or other similar covering is acceptable.
  4. Helmet
    >The Clone Wars animated style clone helmet - Fanmade helmet.
    >Visor - Black visor covers entire "T" shape and frown
    >Helmet Fin on dome
    >4 black vents on each side of helmet
    >Blue jaig eyes on forehead
    >Blue visor trim and rear detail
    >Yellow "kill stripes", 4 on each side of the forehead
    >Rangefinder (animated style) mounted on right/outside of helmet
    >Smoked/black visor over entire opening on face of helmet
    NOTE: Episode II style helmets are not acceptable
  5. Armor
    (1) Chest
    >Chest and back plate should match together at the sides with no gap, just a seam line.

    (1) Back
    >Chest and back plate should match together at the sides with no gap, just a seam line.

    (2) Shoulders
    >Blue stripes centered on shoulders

    (2) Shoulder Straps
    > Correct shape with ridges.

    (2) Upper Arms
    >Front/back pieces are seamless.
    >Blue stripes on outside of biceps

    (2) Forearms
    >Front/back pieces are seamless
    >Blue stripes on elbows and forearms

    (2) Handplates

    (1) AB plate

    (1) Kidney/Lower Back Piece

    (1) Butt Plate

    (1) Cod piece

    (2) Upper thighs
    > Front/back pieces are seamless.

    (2) Lower Legs
    > Blue stripes centered on knees

    (1) Compad on left forearm


  6. Clone Trooper boots
    >White shoes with white soles
    >Strap across top of foot with circular detail pieces at each end
    >Proper toe detail
    >No laces or logos
  7. Belt
    >The Clone Wars style belt
    >Segmented (or segmented-look) belt
    >One large belt box, opposite each other, on hips
    >Thermal detonator centered on rear of belt
  8. Kama
    >black with blue trim
    >Length should be to the bottom of the thigh armor
    >Split up the back all the way to the belt
    >Spacing in the front should place the edges of the kama at roughly the outside corners of the bottom of the codpiece
  9. Holsters and Pistols
    >One holster on each hip, hanging from the belt
    >2 DC-17 Pistols (see photo reference)
    NOTE: Animated pistols and holsters are larger than the realistic props.
  10. Pauldron (black, grey and blue)
    >Front/center of pauldron meets the intersection of breast details on chest plate
    >Back of pauldron extends to bottom of back plate detail
    >Shoulder plate is no longer than helmet is wide


Optional
Elements listed as acceptable here may not be traditionally associated with a costume, but are not so unreasonable as to detract from it. Please keep in mind that the following items may not be allowed at certain canon/high profile appearances.

  1. DC-15 Short
  2. DC15 Long Rifle
  3. minigun
  4. rocket launcher

    Note:
    Other weapons used by clones in The Clone Wars are acceptable.

  5. Weathering - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Color should be heavy on the greys, with little/no browns

NOTE: This clone wears Phase I (Episode II) armor with additional paint and accessories. Only additional additonal features are listed here.

  1. Helmet
    >Blue eyes and triangles on forehead
    >Blue visor trim, rear detail, and 2 vertical ribs back of helmet
    >Yellow "kill stripes", 4 on each side of the forehead
    >Rangefinder (Boba/Jango Fett style) mounted on right/outsdie of helmet and painted white
    >Black or charcoal grey frown
    >Smoked/black visor (mirrored acceptable)
    NOTE: Rubies helmet is not acceptable
  2. Armor
    (2) Shoulders
    >Blue stripe down the center

    (2) Upper Arms
    >Blue stripe on the outside of the bicep, located slightly more toward the front

    (2) Elbows
    >Blue stripe centered on elbow plate

    (2) Forearms
    >Rank stripe on upper/outside

    (2) Hand Plates
    >Rank stripes down center

    (2) Knees
    >Blue stripe down center
  3. Pauldron (black, grey, and blue)
    >Similar to Episode III style
    >Shoulder plate is no longer than helmet is wide
    >Mantle plates painted grey
    >Left shoulder plate details painted blue
  4. Kama
    >Black with blue trim
    >Length should be to the bottom of the thigh armor
    >Split up the back all the way to the belt
    >Spacing in the front should place the edges of the kama at roughly the outside corners of the bottom of the codpiece
  5. Pistols and Holsters
    >One holster on each hip, hanging from the belt
    >2 DC-17 Pistols


Optional:

  1. Weathering - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - Color should be heavy on the greys, with little/no browns
  2. Other clone weapons - Rex is shown with just about all of the accepted Clone weapons at some point in the movie/series
  3. Jango Fett "Arena" style jetpack - Seen when he follows Anakin into battle with the droids The Clone Wars movie
    NOTE: Standard Jango Fett color scheme is NOT acceptable.
