Clone swamp troopers served as
specialized scouts in the Grand Army
of the Republic. These clone troopers
wore a very similar design of armor
to that worn by the clone scout
troopers and the later Imperial scout
troopers.

Swamp trooper armor was
camouflaged for use in or around
mires and boggy land. The troopers
carried DC-15A blaster rifles and DC-
15S blasters. They would sometimes
be assigned BARC speeders for
mounted reconnaissance duty, and
could thus look very similar to BARC
troopers, some of which also wore a
form of clone scout armor.

Swamp trooper training focused on
wetland combat techniques, entailing
maneuvers in deep mud or similarly
treacherous terrain. A unit of clone
swamp troopers was in the 41st Elite
Legion, led by Clone Commander
Gree. They wore dull green colors
while fighting in the Battle of
Kashyyyk during the Clone Wars.

These clones were possibly among
the predecessors of the Imperial
scout troopers, and, more likely, the
Imperial swamp stormtroopers
