Character/Costume Description

Jedi Master Kram Reiets was a Jedi
Master during the waning days of
the Clone Wars. He was a keen
negotiator, but also a formidable
opponent on the battlefield.

Having primarily acted as a
diplomat, he was well versed in the
sixth form of lightsaber combat,
Niman, which he augmented with
Force pushes and shoves. Early in
the Clone Wars he adopted the
lightsaber of his fallen Padawan, Ees
Suatla. Due to Kram's intuition and
creativity in combat he soon
excelled in the Jar'Kai method of
fighting and was most often seen
with two blazing lightsabers.

When the Jedi Order was purged
during Darth Sidious' Order 66,
Kram Reiets was on the Outer Rim
planet of Bespin. Overseeing an
enclave of orphaned war children
who were seeking refuge at the city
in the clouds, Master Reiets was
away from his clone units when the
order which virtually wiped out the
Jedi was placed.

Reeling under the onslaught of the
pain felt in the Force, Kram knew he
had to go into hiding. Before
leaving Cloud City, Master Reiets
sliced into the main computer's
memory core, placing an encoded
message to any remaining Jedi who
might come across this information.

Over the next decades Kram Reiets
stayed on backworld planets in the
Outer Rim, where he met Master
Obi-Wan Kenobi on two occasions,
and underwent preliminary training
on how to retain one's identity when
one became one with the Force. He
often acted as a bounty hunter,
taking on such jobs which he knew
would further the will of the Force.

Little did Master Reiets know that
years later, a miner on Cloud City,
Willrow Hood, would remove the
computer core during Darth Vader's
occupation. Hood knew the core
contained the encrypted information
on Rebel contacts, which could not
fall into possession of the Empire.
Hood was forced to dump the core
in the nearest disposal unit, rather
than have it end up in the wrong

Many years after the Battle of Yavin,
however, the force ghost of Master
Kram Reiets appeared to Grand
Master Luke Skywalker and told him
where the remnants of the core
could be found, and Luke was able
to obtain the parts, and, with help of
his astromech droid, R2-D2, was
able to decipher Kram Reiets'
encoded information, which proved
invaluable to the building of the New
Jedi Order.
