The game finally dropped in price to something I'm willing to pay, so I own the game now and can capture my own screenshots, so hopefully they're a bit better than the ones grabbed off of YouTube previously. I'm going through and adding new images to my albums linked in the previous posts. Any changes to the costume descriptions will be noted.

Next up is the Rebel Desert Specialist. It bears similarities to the Battlefront I Desert Trooper female variant and some wording has been borrowed from that standard.

I love your thread. This female desert specialist might actually be one I could replicate. I do not own the game so I hope you will post more reference pictures about this possible costume. I will have to sew almost everything from scratch if I do indeed create this costume so I need as many reference pictures as possible.

Glad that the thread is being useful! I'm looking forward to making several of these costumes myself.

In honor of the new Jetpack Cargo game mode that was released in the latest patch, the next costume will be the Rebel Jump trooper. It is mostly the same as the Rebel Fleet Specialist, but with different colors, goggles, and of course the jump pack.

All these troopers are great. I would probably make them all if I had enough money, skill and time. I will probably make one with a cap after my two pilots are done. I just not sure which one I should try out. :-)
I just made a Rogue One cap with some minor alterations in Hoth colors for a little project of my husband so I kind of now what I am doing.

That's an awesome looking headgear! I'd definitely say you've got the talent.

Next up is the Endor Heavy, the only Endor trooper that isn't already covered under an existing standard. This uniform is also based on Rogue One with the full padded flak vest like Cassian Andor and the Desert Heavy. In fact, it's an exact recolor of the Desert Heavy, except with Endor headgear. Rogue One fans will enjoy the box strapped on the front of the donut like the Scarif marines.

Pics aren't super good as the map is dark and it can be tough to catch good pics when they are indoors in good lighting. As always, I'll be adding new pics to my albums as I catch them during gameplay. Desert Heavy has some better pics now, and I have updated its description in the previous post.

Jacket
Off-white/ecru long-sleeve jacket worn open at the top and closed at the bottom. Left sleeve has two cylindrical greeblies half way between the shoulder and elbow. Right sleeve has accurate emblem at the shoulder. Jacket ends at beltline and covers belt.

Next uniform is back to the beginning, and giving a more thorough look at the Yavin Rebel Heavy. This trooper also has Rogue One influence, wearing pants and boots in that style, and the jacket has coloration similar to the Gorka. [edit 3/22/2018: This character is based heavily on Eskro Casrich, especially in the jacket design, and pre-production art even gives the character Casrich's unique "pathfinder" helmet.] Gloves are Hoth-style.

Submission for this week contains studio art from DICE that was released just a week or two ago. We have pre-production sketches of all "good guy" uniforms, not all of which have remained exactly the same in the final product. We've worked through many of these already, but the Hoth Heavy, Hoth Specialist, Desert Assault, and Resistance costumes remain.

The big thing that I learned from this is that the Yavin Heavy is based on Eskro Casrich from Rogue One and was intended to have his distinctive helmet. Looks like in the end they couldn't budget modelling a new helmet so they just recolored the RFT. I've updated the Yavin Heavy reference with the pre-production artwork and suggested the option for that helmet.

Finishing up the remaining original-trilogy style costumes, we'll wrap up the Desert costumes with the Desert Assault. In addition to Mos Eiseley, it also used in the recent Bespin map, which gives great opportunity for color comparison on those white walls.

Originally I thought it was exactly the same as the DICE Battlefront I Desert Trooper which already has standards, but it has some recoloring in BFII. I have taken the existing standards from the previous game and have reorganized and altered them them to show what exists in Battlefront II. Coloration on Tatooine & Bespin seems to be identical.

Flickr Album: https://www.flickr.com/photos/158007783@N02/albums/72157693660243935

Rebel Desert Assault

Cargo pants:
Brown pants with side cargo pockets that extend from just above the knee to mid-calf above the gaiter. The pants have two front pocket panels (cut from same fabric as base pants) that go from the waist and extend in length down to the mid thigh; the panel width goes from the outside seam of the pants across the front to about mid thigh measuring from the side seam to the fly front zipper panel. There are two seat pockets in the back.

Gaiters/Spats:
The gaiter is a tube of black heavy cotton or canvas fabric starting from the bridge of the foot, angling down on both sides of the foot in a curving arc and ending just above the heel in the back. The gaiter should cover some of the boot laces, continuing up past the boot top, to slightly below mid-calf.

Boots:
Black combat or hiking boots with lug soles and rubberized toe with light-colored laces.

Shirt:
Long or short sleeve white crew-neck t-shirt.

Jacket:
Open front hooded jacket, Light to medium tan in color, with no closure and a single seam hood.

White screen accurate capped sleeve vest:
Capped sleeved vest is similar to Endor Commando vest. Vest has slash pockets and a padded angular, quilted applique on the right upper chest that starts higher near the arm pit and extends lower to the front closure of the vest. No closure visible on the vest. Light weathering. Square Endor style chest greeblie worn on left side of capped sleeved vest; Greeblie is gunmetal gray or matte black in color.

Web Belt for pants:
Belt should be canvas strapping style in a light khaki color about 2″ wide. Belt must have a black, rectangular, open faced buckle.

Web bandolier:
Bandolier is a charcoal gray strapping material about 2″ wide and has 5 loops for greeblies sewn into the strap starting just below the shoulder to about mid chest. Loops hold 3 cylindrical greeblies.

Bandoleer pouches on right hip:
Brown Cylindrical canister, leather-appearance
Heavily weathered khaki-gray canvas pouch with black plastic US Vietnam-style clasp and black greeblie.
Three small square dark brown leather-appearance pouches.

Short, dark-brown leather work gloves:
Gloves are smooth, dark brown, with ball and strap wrist adjustment.

A-Wing helmet with extended black visor:

White/very light gray/beige colored A-Wing style helmet with an extended, custom black visor. Helmet has padded, dark leather-appearance interior edging about as thick as the plastic part of the helmet.

AN-H-15-like soft cap is medium gray in color. Cap has a ribbed panel that goes across the top down the center of the cap but smooth sides of the base layer cap are seen on both sides of the ribbed panel.

Backpack:
Rebel hardpack, heavily weathered khaki-gray in color. No antenna or tubing.

Endor style wrist comm in khaki-gray color and charcoal gray strap.

For the Mos Eisley, Yavin, and Death Star Heavy Troopers, the leg pouch they all use is the French 3 Grenade Pouch. Took me a while to figure out what it was, but I found it, and one for my Mandalorian, and another for the Yavin 4 Heavy I want to make.

I always wanted to do this Specialist but in Battlefront 2, as a Specialist, there's no guy version of it. Is it STILL applicable for guys too with Battlefront 2's Specialist build? Or will it have another kind of style that separates the ladies' Specialist and the guys' Specialist? I just want to ask and know if it's possible? I hope we do work on these Battlefront costumes because they look really interesting.

Thanks for the pics, Charles, those really show the detail!

Because of your post I'll come back to the Endor, Hoth, and Yavin Heavies later and move on to the Yavin Rebel Specialist, which you've shown.

That is a very good question. If there are only female specialists in BF2 I would assum that the costume is approvable for women and men. We only had male RFTs and X-Wing pilots in ANH but we approve men and women in those costumes.

It would be nice to have an official answer from somebody that can decide this.

All costumes are approvable no matter what sex you are, as long as you fit within the standards required (you can be approved as long as you fit what the list says)

https://youtu.be/7tJt0-VofvE

I taped a video and posted it on YouTube regarding the Resistance Specialist for CRL purposes. Personally, I am itching in getting to know the parts/ equipment for the costume. I noticed that the parts dangling/ hanging on to the character mostly has six (x6) leather small pouches, one (x1) leather sling bag, one (1x) leather cylindrical pouch, three (x3) aluminum cylindrical containers/ probably assuming grenades- two (x2) are attached to the leather body strap/ sling that goes across the wearer and one (x1) is attached to the outer leather belt beside the leather cylindrical pouch in front. There are only two (x2) canvas bags; that's most likely the dark blue/ black bag on the left side of the character and the other is the backpack. Check the link I put up. Thanks, Rebels!

Glad to have your contribution and that you're looking into the costume! From what I've seen, the Resistance Specialist is almost identical to the Rebel Yavin Specialist, but with some recolored items, different headgear, and a scarf/shawl. Here are some pics that I've compiled. Click on them to enlarge:
