Does anyone have suggestions about shoulder pads (what features to look for, possible brands/models)?

I think the go to has typically been lacrosse shoulder pads. I use dirt bike pads so that I have back support/protection should the worst happen and someone tip me over.

To pad out my shoulders I simply used a pink sheet of foam (all I had to hand at the time lol), cut a hole in it and used a heat gun to shape - kinda like a reverse cone of shame. Not many pics of me with it on before I put the top on - found this one where you can sorta see it.

The foam shoulders look good on you, Sarah. Too bad I already ordered dirt bike protection.

Some questions about the fur at the feet: Do you ever trip over the fur (like tripping on loose shoe laces)? Does the fur that touches the floor get dirty and worn? Does the leg ride up above the feet when you move around ... if so, how do you keep it down?
