The short tunics come from places like jedi-robe who sell these jedi costumes

Don't we know it....

http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54809

This information has been posted for some time yet people still buy from these places...

I'm actually responsible for the added length rule, cause we have two jedi like that over here. Got sick of it and started a discussion about it.
Feels good

I have been working on a "generic" librarian based on Jocasta Nu. Is there any allowance for patterned tabards vs. the embroidered pattern of Jocasta's tabards? I believe I read that any designs should not look like any earth culture, so I'm working with geometric patterns.

Dear Orissa!
The "Generic Archivar" is a new Costume Standard Very Happy You can make your Jedi Tabards with patterns now!
Use Geometrical Patterns Very Happy
My Archivar is approved - look at my Tabards.
Even "less" Patterns are ok, even they are Geometrical Very Happy

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I am very happy to have this alternative to the previous design. It makes for a more personal application of the standards. Yours are very lovely, and I am a purple fan too.

Its absolutely an alternative! Because you don´t need a heavy leather belt + accessories ! The Standards says you can make as addition Item a brown pouch (Like Jocasta if you like it) (I Hope the Standard switch because I can´t match a brown pouch to my purple and blue XD)

Hihi, may I know if weathered outer tunic is acceptable? Or strictly clean version only? I've dyed my crinkled crepe some time ago before thinking about joining RL. Do take a look and let me know what you think? Thank you!

Weathered is fine, though my personal suggestion is that you weather your whole costume in similar manner. Crispy clean boots and pants under weathered tunic looks... odd

Yes I agree with this ^^^

There should be more weathered costumes. It makes the difference between a costume that looks like it was used in the movie and something shiny that came out of a packet.

Having said that, don’t confused weathering with un ironed costumes. Your outfit should be carefully ironed at all times.

Hear hear. No excuse for wrinkles, uniform weathering is ideal.
