Wookipedia and other resources have the Navy as having blue rank badges yet Poe and some other pilots in appear to have the Red Army badges.
Wouldn't the Pilots belong to the Navy and there for have blue badges?

Is there a in-universe explanation? Or just one of those production decisions

I've wondered the same thing myself, but I don't think that there's been any canon explanation. The only thing that I can think of is that, maybe, Poe had originally been stationed to a base on a planet (D'Qar) so that made him part of the army, while people stationed aboard a space frigate would fall under the navy ranks. So ground station = army, battleship station = navy. That's my best guess, anyway.

That sounds like a reasonable answer to be fair

Thanks, for this advice.

I seen Poe Dameron walking around with a rankbadge, but didn't pay attention to the color. Me happy i found on on the interweb, and order a blue one.

Then i was scrolling thru the pictures of Resistance Pilot, and seen they had red ones on. And, i had something like damned order the wrong one.

So when, i am high, i will be blue.
And, when i an down, i will go for red.

I will order on a later time a red one, import costs a lot more than the badge it self, can we not send a few squadrons to hunt politicians.
