Hi all ,
My names Chris from the UK .. been putting this together for a little while and i'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Been doing this over on Elstree Base but i thought id drop it here too.
I'm all but finished with just a life vest to order. ..
I'll begin
Boots - JD Williams mens snow boots
Glvoes - M300 Public order Gauntlets
Glie-44 - full resin from JFL Props
Holster - Darman
Helmet - Modded BS by Richard Campbell with Decals From Elliot Norton and my own design, Greeblies by Roman Bela

Chestbox - 3d print (added LED) - added a measuring tape clip to the rear.
Hose - Marine radiator hose (original)
Leg Flare and holder - Cospl88 and 3d print by Roman Bela
Flight suit - The Rebel Seamtress - harness - cospl88
This was first test fit.. badge is on wrong side and harness got all messed up .. need to swap rear buckle for an adjustable one. then i can throw it around the warehouse here to dirty it up.
so just the life vest to do which i'll be ordering from Philonius at the end of the month

so i have begun rebuilding my harness
I cut the 50mm poly webbing and secured it up with the chicago screws.
Added 38m cotton for the leg webbing.
Began work on the TFA fold
Dismiss the cable ties when ive got it how i want it i'll spray it all then stitch it up. Added the two rear chicago screws
noticed that the belt loop looped back on itself where it attached with the chicago screws.
Black 25mm webbing for the pull chords
Flight suit thrown around the warehouse to dirty it up
Vest arrived
Dirtied it up with the dust from inside 10yr old pcs
Chucked what i had on for a quick test minus boots, gloves, leg flare and harness.
Noticed the pouch hanging low so lift it up .. just need to stitch it.
Thats it for now.. need to dismantle the harness and spary it all one colour.. get the box stitch done and stitch the rear fold. |

So box stitch added
Pull chords with grey stitching added
TFA fold
It was pointed out that i hadn't looped the webbing that goes over the belt back through the paddle.. i'll have that corrected tonight. |
