Hello! I'm brand new to this and am about to get started on my first costume EVER and am super excited about it. I'm in Sonoma county and am planning an OT X-wing set-up for my first look. Really looking forward to getting things going finally. Look forward to meeting some of you!

Hello all. I'm working on my first costume for legion approval, the Mara Jade catsuit. Already posted about it here and any advice would be more than welcome!

Hello. My name is Troy Brierly. I am brand spanking new to the Rebel Legion. My love of Star Wars goes back literally to 1977 when I was 8 years old. That Halloween I was Luke Skywalker, and despite others opinions I am a fan of ALL of the SW movies. Of course my first love is Episodes 4,5, and 6 but I love 'em all.

I am also a member of the 501st Legion as Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin and a Jawa.

When I decided to build a Jawa I decided to join up with the RL as well because I've met some very cool people and had a few troops that were really fun to mix up with the 501st, RL and Mandos. It's all Star Wars and I enjoy the costuming and the charity involved.

Pleasure to be a part of this and looking forward to meeting more of you all.

May The Force Be With You.

I'm actually an old member from Dagobah Base that went inactive during grad school. Moved out to the East Bay about a year ago and am finally ready to get back into trooping. Just gotta dust off the old Jedi robes.

I have been working on a build since may, and I decided recently to focus on an Endor Commando. I have the Donut helmet built, you can see the process post I did here: http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=88040 , so I am in the process of building the rest. I love making props, so this will be fun.

I live in Alameda, CA.

Hello Norcal fam!

I have had the pleasure in meeting a handful of Endor base members throughout the last couple of years and I finally decided to join in on the fun a few months ago. Long before I can remember, I was a Star Wars fan. I think it was engraved into my dna before birth. My father had it. I have it. My sisters have it. Heh.

I hadn't put together a costume since i was eight years old. I of course dressed as Princess Leia in her senatorial gown. Smile After spending about seven months making and putting together Jyn Erso's Jedha outfit, my first RL costume, I finally submitted it in August. Hooray! I am very pleased with it and I hope I get to troop with you all soon after it is reviewed.

Looking forward to meeting some of you if I haven't already.
Cheers,
Hannah

Hello all! My name is Jonathan, and I am loading up my Jeep and making the cross-country trip to my new home in Fremont. I currently have a completed X-wing pilot and an endor commando WIP. I look forward to meeting you all and trooping with you guys. It might be a little while before the movers get all of my kits out there, but I wanted to go ahead and introduce myself.

Hello all! I'm Lindsay, a cosplayer based in Santa Rosa. Although I've been creating costumes for 15 years or so, I've only this year started on Star Wars costumes and after having spoken with several RL/501st/MM members at conventions in the past, I decided to finally sign up Smile

I have a Rebels season 1/2 Hera finished that I've been slowly modifying to bring it up to scratch, and I'm currently working on her season 4 civilian/Lothal digs. I first wore Hera at Fanime this past May and the upgraded version at Heroes and Villains Fanfest in San Jose this past weekend, and I'd absolutely love to have the opportunity to wear her more often, especially a little closer to home.

I look forward to eventually getting Hera approved and hanging out with you all!

Hi, I'm Melinda. I'm in Sacramento county. I'm a lifelong Star Wars fan, but this is my first time to connect with others. I'm really excited. I plan on making the Rey TLJ battle outfit. Really excited to become part of the Legion and Endor base Smile

Greetings
I am Leigh Skilling and have been a diehard fan of Star Wars since I saw the trailer for it in 1976 at a Star Trek convention in SF. I saw it 13 times at the Coronet theater on Geary. I camped out overnight on the sidewalk but missed getting into the first showing by 3 people. That only meant I got a great seat for the second showing.
I have been working on a Fleet Trooper, Scarf Trooper, and FA/ANH/ESB/ROTJ Han Solo.
I also am part of the BSG colonial fleet. I also cosplay Judge Dredd, Vikings and Star Trek. I have been cosplaying for decades but really gotten into it in the last few years. I usually go to SVCC in San Jose and Dragon Con in Atlanta.
I have been performing in Dickens Fair and Renaissance fairs for over 25 years as well. I am currently part of a singing group of pirates. Seadogs.org
I live in San Francisco in Ingleside near SFSU.

Hey all! My name is Shelley Hawkins, and I live in the East Bay, CA. I have been a longtime fan of all kinds of scifi and fantasy, have attended many a convention over the years, and also have been involved with the Renaissance Faires (fencing booth).

I am in the final stages of having my Jakku Rey accepted, which will be my first foray into RL. Really looking forward to getting to know you all, and I can already tell I'll be sucked into further characters...

Hi everyone! Name's Cheryll and I'm a graphic designer living in Daly City. I just submitted my application for Rose Tico and now I'm going to try and stop myself from refreshing my email every hour to hear the status.

I've been cosplaying since 2003, but this is my first Star Wars costume—looking forward to meeting more of you!

Hi Folks,

I'm Chuck from the Bay Area, California. Currently I'm a member of the Mandalorian Mercenaries and 501st Legion as an ESB Boba Fett. I am in the process of building Edrio and Benthic from Rogue One. "Two Tubes".

My wife asked me, "What rebel would you be?" and Benthic, Saw Gerrera's 2nd in Command, and member off Enfys Nest's Cloud Riders, was my answer. I love that the Tognath race has shown up in two films and comic books. The raw mercenary feel of these characters and the gritty real world look of them is perfect for me and is everything I love about Star Wars.

Thanks for having me. I look forward to the build and joining the Rebel Legion soon enough. I will be posting my WIP in the Fringe/Jyn Erso and other Rogues forums. Feel free to follow along and post comments.
