Friday 5/24 11am-7pm,
Saturday 5/25 10am-7pm, and
Sunday 5/26 10am-4pm
From EV: "You are welcome to attend on any and all days/hours as it suits your group! As with most events, Saturday will be the biggest attendance day. On Friday, we may have several school groups but that is not confirmed at this time. While we'd love to have a presence every day, we realize you are volunteering your time and appreciate any time you can spend with us! As we get closer to the event, I'll ask for a list of your attendees and expected days."
There will be one 6 foot table and 2 chairs for us. Same as last time, we cannot pose for pictures with other guests who are not members of the Legions on the Millennium Falcon, Speeder Bikes, or any other prop or set, as this is NOT a sanctioned LFL event. We do have permission from LFL to attend this. They will also have Star Trek sets and props there, and they are also having a prop building contest. See the link above if you may be interesting in competing in prop building.
There is not a time frame where we must be at the event at the table. That means we don't have to have all shifts filled. But if you want a free pass, you must sign up for a 2 hour shift on the day you want the pass. The sign up is below. I expect minimal items at the table. I suggest the table runner, business cards, and sign up sheet. Keep it simple due to the nature of this event and the fact that we only have one table.
They will have an Exhibitor Lounge on the exhibit floor where water cooler and water bottles will be available to us. They will have a small lockable room for us to change out near registration.
I may be interested in Wamping around this event but have a couple questions if that's ok. How much space is there to change and how far is the changing space from our table usually? I realize that can change year to year so basically I'm looking for some info to help me decide if I am able to wear Willy or not. Thanks!

Let me ask some questions. I did not attend the last few times, so I am not sure how we were accommodated. _________________ ~~ Joy Hargraves ~~

I have signed up for table shifts for both Saturday and Sunday and will need a badge. In addition to the table shifts, I hope to be able to do two hours as Ackbar each day, and will plug those into the schedule once the con schedule firms up a bit.
By the way, anyone who has a Hoth costume should try to attend, because they announced that they will have a Snowspeeder prop there. I am working on a build for a new Snowie and hope to have it done in time to bring it to this con along with Ackbar. _________________ Lori Frye

I was there last year. We did not have a separate changing room, but I believe we had a changing space concealed behind our table. So, the distance from the table was small, but there wasn't a lot of space. If I recall correctly, RL actually had a bigger presence than the 501st last year on the day I attended because the Falcon was there, so the Rebels actually had more resources.
I don't know if the set-up would be the same this year or not. I'm also not sure if we provided the curtains, etc for the changing area, or if they came from the con. _________________ Lori Frye

Thanks Lori! I signed up for Saturday. My 13 year old son Ethan will also be coming as my escort to help me get dressed and wamparound. Is it possible to get him in with me or do I need to buy him a ticket?
Please do not forget to go to the spreadsheet to sign up for your two hour shift. Thank you kindly. More info to come. _________________ ~~ Joy Hargraves ~~

Hey! I'm from PA, Ghost Base, but I'm in the process of moving to MD and I'll be in the DC area this weekend. I can be here Saturday and Sunday if that's okay!

Welcome! And yes by all means, do show up. This event is very "relaxed" compared to other events. We will have a table. But only minimal things will be brought in, like business cards and things that can be left on a table. I have not attended one of these before, so I'll be a bit new at this one. _________________ ~~ Joy Hargraves ~~

The registration desk is downstairs outside Exhibit Hall E where you can pick up the wristbands.
If your name was not on the spreadsheet, I did not turn your name in for your wristband. PLEASE ensure you do that today so we know the days you are attending.
Please remember at the Millenium Falcon and other Star Wars props, we are not allowed to pose with people who are not members of the Legions. But by all means have fun and get your pictures taken alone or with each other.
