Thanks! The hair is really weird! I confirmed the colors like 3 times with Jamie to make sure I wasn't crazy because up close it looks more grey than brown but at normal distance for photos and such it is more brown. The gold/blonde color does that a little, but not nearly as much. At the same time the darker colors don't hold a wave/curl nearly as well as the lighter colors. Has been a weird learning experience, but overall has been good to work on something like this and be outside my comfort zone. Of course this weekend I am going to do absolutely nothing but my school work since I have not had a free weekend in months haha. _________________ =================

Good luck. It looks great!
I have a question for you. How do you get the hair on the face to stay in place so wonderfully? It is a constant struggle with my wookie to get the face hair to stay styles. _________________ A Wookie leaves a little of themselves everywhere they go |

Ive had the problem in the past, but it helps if you keep the hair on the brow shorter than some of the other parts of the mask. I use 4-6" strands there. That, plus the silicone glueing, helps keeps it in place pretty good. Then I use a good hairspray. Fudge cement is the best stuff to use, but I found that Got2B glued works great for me. |

Hi everybody,
Got feedback that I need to lengthen hair on the arms. Ugh! I was hoping they were long enough so I can feel like using my hands was possible lol. Will get re-submission done this week for sure. Maybe tomorrow since it's a holiday for me and would like to get some cleaning done....like vacuum where all the hair fell on the floor hahaha
Chef - The colors used are M4/22:44:4 with a 1:1:1 ratio for greyish brown color. 144:27/613 as a 2:1 ratio for the golden blonde.
I used a wave/curler to give hair kinks which looks much better now that I have taken it out for a troop and placed it in the tote for a while. Made the hair look more natural. I noticed that the curls also have a slightly different look do from where they heated up. I didn't heat or straighten the hair beforehand.
Big Bear, I have to admit I had help from Jamie in regards to the head. I just know it's a matter of mini-bobby pins, Cement hair product which is almost impossible to find anymore for a decent price, and lots of hairspray. _________________ =================

Nice work, Dev. Almost there! And you can't complain about a couple inches of hair beyond your hands haha! Mine is at least a foot past my fingers! ;P _________________ "Let the Wookiee Win!"

Approved as of this morning. WOOT!!
I have discovered it’s a really weird feeling having a weekend without latching. I had time to actually go outside and see the world haha.
Short lived though, I am going to be helping the wife upgrade her Ewok. _________________ =================

I am starting my investigation and learning to make Chewbacca (probably original trilogy, but....)
Where did you get your mask and toes made?
Thanks. |
