Does anyone sell an accurate flight suit? I have a gray X-wing suit now, and I'm not good enough of a stitcher to make a flight suit.

Hi Jeff,
contact Wampa Wear! He had a nice tan colored flight suit in X-Wing Pilot style and I am sure he can rework it for Y-Wing Pilots Smile

You wouldn't necessarily have to make a suit from scratch, unless you really wanted to. You can modify a pair of coveralls using a second pair as the material to cut pockets with.

At the moment I don't believe that anyone sells the accurate Y-wing suit. Philonious was thinking of making them, I know, but I don't know how far along he is with the production of them. Smile

THe german prop makers Hero Tec x are just getting their prototypes ready.
They are doing green ones for A-Wing, red ones for B-Wing and grey ones for Y-Wing, as they all have "nearly" the same pattern"
Just send them an e-mail: pilots@herotecx.de
Yours
Lord Grant
PS They had heavy support form a German based pilot costume judge and I personally am looking forward on getting my jumpsuit from them

I got accepted with just the gray Imperial flight suit. Currently, I think the Y-wing requirements aren't nearly as strict as the X-wings. Any gray flight suit will do, and everyone's flak vest is miles apart from each other. But, we only recently have gotten a good look at the Y-wing costume, so I don't know if that will change. I'm currently remaking my flak vest. But, I was hoping to cut a corner if someone was already making the flight suit. For now, I guess modifying coveralls is the best bet.

The AT AT one is differnt by the collar, chest and arm pockets and even the leg pockets are slightly different and other details would be missing: They are VERY diffrent and the Y-Wing one is NOT like a X-Wing one!

It is sad to say that he current Y-Wing Costume Standard is as incorrect as the A-wing one. You can get approved based on this "false" CS with both pilots.

The jumpsuit of the Y-Wing, and the A and B-Wing ist the same so check out the B-Wing Costume Standard for the flight suit.
