We'd love to have members of the Rebel Legion participate in our 2nd Annual Super STEM Saturday to be held at the ABQ Convention Center on Feb 23rd.

Last year we had several of your members attend and it was AWESOME! We'd love to have you back! I've also reached out to the Dewback Ridge Garrison so hopefully members of the legion and the garrison have some availability to attend.

Last year, we launched the New Mexico Excellence in STEM Awards (otherwise known as the "STEMYs"), to highlight and celebrate STEM education in NM as a means to help the State improve it's self-image as a technology center. In conjunction we held "Super STEM Saturday", the day following the awards banquet, to generate buzz and enthusiasm for STEM.

This year, we're going bigger. Last year, we had ~50 organizations, and ~1200 visitors take part in Super STEM Saturday where we launched trashcans, had lightning duels with Tesla coils, demo'ed a ping pong ball cannon, had tons of fun with liquid nitrogen, and hourly shows by National STEMonstrator phenomenon, Science Bob!

Is it possible to do the hospital troop and then head to this troop afterwards or do we need to be at the event at 9 exactly?

You can message on the day of when you are done and see if people are still there, since the hospital troop is to 12-1ish, this one may be wrapping up by the time you are done. It is a longer event though so people still may be hanging out.
