JenEyre's Hoth/Bespin Escape

I've made a decent amount of progress on my Hoth/Bespin Escape Leia build. I'm hoping to be able to catch up on the pictures of my progress soon (my brain isn't currently able to handle much time on my laptop screen, so linking to pictures can only be done in very limited batches, if at all, unless I'm willing to tolerate a massive headache.), but for now I thought I'd share the google doc where I've been using the new standard format to collect research. It's a start towards updating this standard at the very least! Its currently set on comment only mode, but if anyone wants to help work on it I'm happy to add you as an editor!

Here's a couple preview shots of my boot progress. If these actually work, I plan to share a pdf pattern of the covers I made.


Boots, before painting:

Bottom view of boots before I painted more:

I ended up using E-6000 to attach the tops of my Hoth Leia boots to the wedge loafers I'm using for a base. The back of the loafers weren't as flat as screen references, and my boot cover didn't quite lie flat at the back of the heel, so I filled it in wi by Jen Eyre, on Flickr
