Is there Free decal sheets to use with the inkjet water transfer paper for the TFA X Wing Helmet?
If not is there demand for it?
I'm a graphic designer / illustrator and I've made some decal sheets I'd be willing to share with the greater rebel family.
If there was a decal sheet I'd like to get it to compare with the work I've done so far. It'll help me from having to do as much trial and error.
Lastly - Does anyone have a lead on boots? omg this is painful. I'm a size 10 W or 11 regular (CAN) even if it's a link to another thread. The best link I found was to a german boot that doesn't ship to Canada. _________________ There is no guarantee this message will reach you, my Astromech is a jerk. |

Which helmet would the transfers work with, Black series, or another, or any?
I'd possibly be interested. Have had other costuming priorities, so my TFA/TLJ pilot has been dragging. I did my own custom graphics on my die cut vinyl cutter for my OT helmet.
Pilot boots for TFA are pretty easy, actually, unless you're looking for the true screen-accurate boots. There are several variants, though... which were you looking for? _________________

I'd do decals up for anything and everything. Save them as PDF files. make them open source. I'm leaning towards them fitting the black series helmet as that's the one that I'm reskinning currently.
There's an awesome link on Etsy where a fella will print the greeble parts you need to replace ones lacking on the Black Helmets.
They're currently on for 39.99 at www.BigBadToyStore.com
My helmet is all apart and currently all sprayed white. I'm leaning towards a generic as yet to be seen on screen rebel pilot.
So far I have my generic sheet setup and a Snap Wexley sheet done. Then you'd just buy the inkjet paper - it's like 25 bucks for a pkg of them and print whatever you need at home. These costumes are so expensive as it is, we could all use a break from time to time.
As for boots - Poe Dameron style flight boots are what I'm hoping to get close to. _________________ There is no guarantee this message will reach you, my Astromech is a jerk. |

So these are two sample sheets I've been working on. Everything is vector based so it's easy enough to scale without any quality loss.
I am still working on scale. But it's close. When I'm done I can post this as a PDF file for anyone to use. There's a lot of spare room on the sheets so I'm loading up the space with other images in the event someone wants a custom helmet. _________________ There is no guarantee this message will reach you, my Astromech is a jerk. |

Well, other than one reply I don't see a whole lot of need for these. Either there's another source somewhere or folks just don't need decals.
In any event I posted a set of sheets on my website. They're free to use. Just don't print these and then charge people for them.

Download the vector files here:

I hope these help. And if folks need modifications to them. I'm happy to help. For the fans by the fans. _________________ There is no guarantee this message will reach you, my Astromech is a jerk.

Thank you for sharing these. I am planning on painting my Hasbro Black Serien Poe Dameron helmet and have not decided on the color scheme yet. Now I just need to find someone in my neck of the woods that can print these for me. _________________ GRRRL-Squad-Leader 2019

Those look great. Thank you for posting them.
I don't think anyone means any offense by not posting, it's just that the RLSC side of the RL forum has been fairly dead for the last few months. It used to be more active than this.
Whose helmet is that in the bottom row center? _________________ B-wing Pilot - Jedi - Resistance X-wing Pilot - Temmin "Snap" Wexley

The decals were intended to work with a product like this.
20 Sheets A4 Laser Water Slide Decal Paper Sheets Transparent Clear https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01GVO92U2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_F0CPCb3WBNENB
Make sure you get the paper for your printer (inkjet or laser).
The center helmet (mentioned above), has the parts to create this Bastian helmet, or a hybrid. The main front blast shield emblem is cobalt squadron, and some helmets have it on the ear shields.
In this image the ear decal is the same as Jess Pava’s blast shield. So mix n match.

Thank you for posting these. I would like to make use of a set on my helmet build.
Is it possible to change the colours?
I need to change the black to dark blue on my selected set?
Any advice would be appreciated.

So this is my Hasbro helmet, primed and repainted. I have also applied my decal sheets - they worked like a charm.
I bought some replacement greeblies / greebles from Etsy. looking back at them they're not the most accurate. boo.
Advice / Tips:
Trim the decals as close as possible to the lines or you'll see a raised trim area. Might try sanding it away.
Print on the best possible setting. _________________ There is no guarantee this message will reach you, my Astromech is a jerk. |

easiest way would be for me to edit the blue to the colour you want / need. So shoot me the hex code or rgb or CMYK and I'll fire you over a new sheet. Fans helping fans right. _________________ There is no guarantee this message will reach you, my Astromech is a jerk. |

Nifty! I'm a little curious to try these with my die cut vinyl printer to see if they work as well as the transfers. _________________
