Hi all -

As my quest to find appropriate Luke ROTJ pants continues, I've come across a few members who seem to have found good ones.

Can any board members chime in here with links or advice?

Currently, I'm looking at buying Riding Breeches and dying them. That seems to be the only option for pocketless pants. Not too keen on the dying part, but I'll make do if I have to.

I currently have a pair of slim fit Tux Pants, but of course, they have side and rear pockets. :/

As seen here:

I'm not sure if those would do....

Thanks!

Hello there, gbm!

We have talked on PM about this, but I just have to say two things (no, three) publicly.

1-nice build!

2-that wig! Dude. So, so good. Can I mail you mine for cutting and styling, please? Wink

3-I never thought I'd see the day when the lack of pockets on clothes for women (so dumb - you know it even affects my scrubs for work - men's have more pockets, but women's come in more colors - functional versus pretty - sigh - but I digress) would be a positive feature, but in this case, it sure is. I didn't have much of a hard time finding basic tux trousers without pockets when buying women's. Still had to look a bit, but not much. That said, I'd love to find a hair that wasn't "low rise," but no such luck yet.

Yes, we have! Smile
Thank you for your insight, the search continues....

As for the wig:

...and it required a ton of cutting and styling, including literally cutting into it to create the cowlick in the front. (well maybe not necessrily a cowlick, but more so the wave that goes towards the side, while the other side drops downward.

Here's a good shot close up:

...I'd be more than happy to help, but I'd kinda need your head too while I make the necessary cuts and snips. lol

Hahahahaaa! Indeed.

Too bad I can’t ship my head along with my wig. 😂

I modified my patterns for the OT Solo trousers for mine (still reworking the tunic collar) but might be able to help you out/answer questions if you're gonna make your own!

Mine have the plain front, riding seam (no darts), and tuxedo stripe on the side.

Thanks for the reply!

Hmmmm, your link doesn't seem to work.

I did not have any intentions on making my own, outside of just applying the stripe really.

I'd love to see your photo however.
