I finally received my Softparts. after a bit of tinkering Im happy how the flightsuit is sitting. Need to wait for the Mask to refit the vest. make it shorter and probably have to resize the collar. Also belt needs to go lower. Otherwise I'm pretty happy how the material and colors are. Here is just a fast testfit. Mask/Hands will probably come the end of the year.

It's a trap! Smile At first glance, I thought the vest looked too dark but I have no clue about this costume and the CS says "Cream or light tan sleeveless vest" so everything should be fine. I cannot wait to see the finished costume in person.

While I am not a judge and not looking small details, I love it! The mask and hands have a lot of detail and coloring. I love seeing aliens coming into the Legion.

It's looking really great! A couple of small suggestions that will make it even better:

-Adding a hook and eye closure at the top of the collar above the zipper on the vest will help keep it closed there.

-The vest should be mid hip length (it doesn't cover the tush completely), so you may want to consider shortening it a bit.

You can see the length here (The arrows on the first image were to point out other details, don't worry about them- this is just the best image for length in the back I have on imgur right now.):

The whole reference album is here:

Also, when you submit, make sure to include a mask off picture and one either with your arms up or of the belt separately. I *think* you have the keyhole shaped pieces, but they are covered by your arms.

yeah I will add a hookpiece and shorten/narrow it. Been studing the pictures and saw it needs to be shorter/narrower to my bodysize. They actually are the keyhole shaped pieces, but I will just take seperate pictures of them then.

just a quick picture, I just fixed the vest with needles and wanted to hear if that would be to much or would be okay in shortening? Also just put a pin needle in the top where I will put the hanger in the vest, so its more closed. Seems okay?

The length looks good, and so do the hooks! Smile

One thing before you shorten the back- there is a horizontal seam above the belt along the small of the back. It looks like the original was pieced together. This is absolutely optional, but it looks like you could shorten it there instead of the bottom if you wanted to add that detail, so I wanted to mention it before you no longer had the option in case you wanted to add it.

You can see the seam in this picture, the bottom arrow. (Again- this is an optional detail, and your costume looks great without it. Smile )

Well the seam is actually there. For some reason I thought the Belt needs to cover that seem. I will maybe testfit the costume again tomorrow and send new pics with visible seem. Thanks for that info <3 Can't wait to finish this build and hear "It's a Trap" 10000x Times

I actually just saw, the seam isnt there. Is it actually just a seam in the back or is it a felt tube like in the front? Picture isnt really clear

New improved Vest with stitching in the back., just send in the Pictures for review. Happy how he looks now. The cloth will never fall "perfect" as I still move with it etc. but I think I tried my best for accuracy.

Yeah, it really isn't very clear- I had the same thought that is could be either. The felled seam you've used looks just great though, so I think you're good. Also- this turned out SOOOOOOO WELL!! ::MUPPET FLAIL::
