Out of curiosity. Is there a blanket sorta acceptance criteria for a 'Vanilla flavour' resistance fighter pilot?

What I'm getting at relates to details like... if you wanna create a TFA pilot your uniform is a reddish orange colour, but the TLJ pilot is more traditional orange. Each film has different acceptance criteria. Is there a blanket sorta. "yeah we see that you're a pilot and all your parts are to the level of creation that would be accepted for that film." And therefore you can fit under an umbrella term of resistance fighter pilot.

Are members permitted to pick and choose parts between the films to create a generic in the background of a scene style pilot character?

The rebels didn't have deep coffers and I imagine they'd re-use supplies a lot. It's not a stretch to think a quartermaster might pass a new pilot a new flight suit but an older life support box, and a dated helmet...

Is this a thing? or do you have to specifically shoot for - I'm a TFA Pilot or a TLJ pilot?

Excellent question! The RL standards below state "generic" but talk about TFA only.

http://newsite.rebellegion.com/resistance-pilot-generic/

I am in the process of a TFA pilot build but may change to a TLJ build if its confirmed that the flight suit, vest, harness, gloves, boots, and leg flares are interchangeable.

I've read that the chestbox is different and probably would be easier to get the TLJ hose.

Also as the holster is optional, I could have one for one build and not use it for the second!

Hopefully someone can respond to this post.

I have an approved TFA pilot and TFA briefing room pilot, and while it's not a full X-wing pilot suit per se, I also have an approved "trooper version" of the costume. I use the same vest and suit for all of then and just swap out a few minor things. If that helps any.
