Hey everyone!
I’ve nearly completed my final version of my Jakku Rey costume after several reworks. Before I submit, I’d definitely like some feedback on my current colors to see if anything needs to be dyed again; I know there’s a bit of color variance with greys vs beiges in this costume, so I’m prepared to adjust either way. The links below show the soft parts in a few different lighting settings, and any feedback is much appreciated!

Howdy! I must say, I love your fabric choices- however, you're looking a bit on the blue scale, so you may need to warm up your tones especially on the shirt. Other than that, you have a great start!
Additionally, the Rey Cosplay Community FB group is a great place for resources for all of the Rey costumes and to get feedback. _________________

Thank you for the input! I think the issue with the blue-ish tone may be that the lighting in my house is cool toned fluorescent; the direct lighting and indoor flash is more representative of the true color, which is more of a dirty/weathered white. For my submission pictures I’m planning to shoot in multiple lightings.
I don’t have a Facebook so I can’t join the Rey group, but I appreciate the recommendation! |
