Hello everyone, I thought I should start a WIP for my Admiral Ackbar I'm working on. This will be my second Star Wars costume, but first Rebel Legion costume. Here is what I have so far.

Mask and hands: Chris Stevens Creations

Boots: Funtasma TK boots

Flight suite: Custom made by my wife (thanks!)

Belt : Making myself

Belt boxes: 3d Print

Rank badge: 3d print

Vest: Custom made by my wife (thanks again!)

Great job so far. I would change your neck of your suit so it only fits your normal neck, as the vest will cover the rest of the mask. It should look like the maskneck is covered by the vest.
If your vest is already done, maybe post a pic with the vest. If you need references check my WIP or my profile. Feel free to pm me also:)

Trout, that's some excellent advice from Anti-hero. I think you may find it more comfortable to wear as well. Your build is looking great! Yay more Ackbar's!!

Thank you for the advice, the flight suit is made for just my neck, we just shoved the mask in in for the photos to show more of the flight suit. It is much more comfortable over the flight suit vs in it. The vest will be getting worked on tonight and tomorrow I hope to have photos up this weekend showing a mostly complete costume

Looks good so far, how does it look from the back? I would have made the vest just a tad longer, but it still looks okay.
Also how do your arms look if they are hanging? Your Arms look a bit puffy at the moment

The arms are still a bit of a learning curve, each time I put it on I feel like they look better. Getting the overall size of my arm vs the size of the Ackbar hand to not look to out off proportion is a bit of a balancing game.

I actually think the vest needs to be longer and wider, the mask is visible from the side. and seems a tad short Sad
