I just wanted to pop in and say hello to all my NC people. I just recently sent in my Jedi out fit that i have been saving up to get for several years to join in to be judged unfortunately it was not approved due to a couple items not being long enough or missing like food capsules so for the next few years I guess I will be saving up again hopefully to resubmit it again. If any one has any pointers on how to fix my issues very cheaply please let me know this has been a dream of mine for several years but supporting my wife and 2 kids on my single small income can make it hard to do things .
Thanks for all y'all do
Sincerely
Josh Fausnett

Welcome, Josh.
I have a few questions.
1. Are you going for a generic Jedi, or one of the face characters?
2. Did you buy your tunic or have it made?
3. Do you sew?
If you sew, or had it made, it's just a matter of modifying the tunic to add length.
Also, the food capsules aren't expensive. I paid about $15 for a set of 8 earlier this year from Amazon. _________________

I just sent you a message about the food capsules.
I have the pouch that I used when I joined. I don't use it anymore and you're welcome to have it if you like.
Ace Hardware, most hardware stores for that matter, will have hooks and D-rings for less than a Covertec clip. _________________

Get a D-ring and strap anyway. you can still use a screw to attach it into the same hole as the Covertec wheel thingie uses. _________________

You may luck out better on Etsy. I know several of our Rebel Legion folks that sew on there.
Here is one.
Marianna does a great job. She just did a custom Robe for me for Master Plo Koon.

Think the new requirement is to have the sleeves to the knuckles... so I would make sure she does that for you
She can also do full costumes if you wish
