So for some magical reason, all of my costumes are suddenly a few sizes too large, even though i didn't lose any weight. But as i don't enjoy doing things twice too much, i decided to start a new project, before i adjust my old costumes to my new size.

I already bought black raw silk for the hooded tunic(maybe it's supposed to be wool, but i like silk better) and bubble gauze for the cloak and will start sewing soon.

This is the lightsaber i bought for this project:

There are still some things to adjust(i think the clamp connector Card is the wrong model AND inserted the wrong way), but it's not a bad base.

Good luck with it. Smile It's one of very few costumes I actually found interesting in the new trilogy.

Yes, it's a very interesting costume. It's simple but yet full of details, it seems to combine most former costumes. Also it's made entirely out of diaper fabric, which makes it pretty comfortable to wear Laughing

Unfortunately, the silk fabric i bought was impossible to dye, so i just ruined 6 meters of perfectly fine blue silk, so i had to buy a new, black one. That fabric is thinner than the screen used one, so i really had to use the full 6 meters for the tunic and take two layers, even though i know where the seams on the hood and the flaps are located. But i think there are only little situations in which you could notice the difference.

The trousers are simple straight cut cotton trousers with a drawstring closure, if i have the time i will rework them a little so they have less material around the hips.

Boots and leg wraps are taken from my Exile Luke, the shirt is taken from my flashback Luke.

The belt is the one from my flashback Luke, but with a different buckle.

Now i just have to sew the cloak and add some hidden fasteners, then it's ready to make some good pictures for approval.
