I finally decided to make this lovely outfit Leia wore at Crait. My plan is to make the underdress and tentacle ring myself, hire my favourite seamstress to make the coat (she already said yes!), and order the rest of jewelry online.
I'd love to have it ready for EpIX, or if real life strucks, for Comic Con Prague (February).
These are my fabrics. The left one is a poly/cotton blend thin suiting, the right one is a black poly bouclé with silver lurex threads. It even looks like diamonds when looking from a distance Not sure why it looks somehow blue on the picture (but that could be my monitor settings).

For the dress pattern I used my old "late medieval" semi-fitted dress. The only mod was a higher neckline.
edit: This was my fabric: https://www.glitzerpueppi.com/Boucle-Fabric-Glitter-Brown-Black I used its reverse side as my right side and dyed the dress black with iDye Poly. _________________

Always nice to have a pattern that can be reused. _________________

Hello!!
I am putting together this outfit too!! I always thought it was beautiful from the first time I saw it. since it's my first Star Wars outfit, I order if from a cosplay company who hand makes their costumes, and it should be here shortly. Since then, I've been taking my time on the jewelry. The two moon ring and earrings I ordered. The tentacle ring is coming along and the bracelet.
I will have my submission ready soon!!
Best wishes!!

I was at a fitting session at my dressmaker's place. My coat should be ready this Friday!
The collar top is folded here the same way as presented at the costume exhibit.
It stands! The collar had just one layer plus interfacing at the moment. When put up properly, it hides half of my ear.
I also tried to make my tentacle ring out of Apoxie Sculpt, a "gold" ring base and iridescent blue glass cabochon. It's this one: https://www.dobeado.com/czech-glass-cabochon-25x18mm-mandarin (it's blue IRL). Using the ring base was a bad idea as it makes the stone stick up too much. Version 2 it is.

Thanks to my beading mastermind friend I knew what to buy for my bracelet! Here's the list:
1 bendable "gold" snake necklace
12 round metal beads (original has barrel beads but we weren't lucky finding those)
10 glass faceted rondelles in smoke gray
4 metal rondelles
a pair of ribbon clamps with a lobster clasp and a small piece of a chain (can be bought as one piece or separate pieces)
thick elastic cord
The bendable snake is actually metal "scales" on an elastic cord. When you cut the cord, they will fly in all directions! Better cut your snake inside a big box.
Trying my snake rondelles. I liked the smaller more.
Mmm... shiny! _________________

Half-wig time! It's a bit messy and my hair was not sprayed to match; however, is the style correct? Are there 3 mini buns in the back? So many questions
And thanks to everyone for support and comments! _________________

Creative way of doing the wristband. I like it.
The hairdo also looks good. Perhaps a bit thin on the top-side, but the general shape seems right. Once you add in a bit of color to blend it it should be fine. _________________

Thank you! I'll play with those bobby pins in the back a little more.
With my jewelry, I also bought Han Solo's dices
