As soon as I saw this character in Rogue One I was immediately drawn to him because of the Biker Scout helmet - one of the neatest designs in Star Wars costuming.

Since I was already getting ready to work on an actual Biker Scout costume I decided to sidestep and work on this one first.

I've been working on this costume for just about a year now - my WIP thread over at The Replica Prop Forum has documented all the steps along the way:

https://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=278922

And here is my completed costume finally:

At some point I'll submit this here for joining the Legion and actually trooping around in it, but I wanted to share the images here now that it's all done.

I've seen this done before and rejected because of no rear reference images.

I'd be interested as to how you get on.

Thanks! This was a really fun one to do, especially given the challenge of figuring out all the detail from very limited photo ref. The key for this character was in realizing that a lot of the costume elements were common to other members of Saw's group and then finding good photo ref for those characters as well. With that, most of the elements came together just fine.

I'd love to see good images of the actual screen-used costume some day, if for no other reason than to see how close or far off I am in some of the details...

I trooped around in this at Denver Comic Con 2018 back in June and it was a ton of fun. Neat to see folks' reactions who recognized the character from Rogue One. :-)

Wonderful dedication to the challenge, I'd been following your build at the RPF but didn't realize you'd completed it. Job well done. All it needs now is some judicious weathering to make it all POP...will you be doing any?

Thanks much!

Yes, there's some weathering there now, but indeed more is needed. I made an initial quick pass to get things ready for the roll out at Denver Comic Con last summer but haven't had a chance to get back to it to really weather it up hard. Looking forward to getting back to that for this year's Con...

Hey man!

I'm really interested in making this build. Does it have a CRL already?

There is no costume standard yet. I think the two approved partisans were approved by the Fringe detachment and not RAID. Perhaps you should post this question over there and ask if they are currently working on the CS.
