GhostBase 2020/03/08 Pittsburgh, PA. Toypalooza Toy Show with SKG

Summary of Event:
This event was shared from Starkiller Garrison.

Event Date: 3/8/20
Event Start Time: 10 am
Length of Appearance: 5 Hours
Event Address
5 Hot Metal St 15203
Venue Setting: Indoor

We've been invited to share a table with STARKILLER Garrison by the the event organizer, Bob; whom I personally come to know over the years.

This event is a low cost event for patrons and free parking. There are lots of great toy merchandise and vendors there.

Event went well did not seem to have any major problems that I was aware of, other than what is noted below.
Outmatched by Imperial forces from Starkiller Garrison, two Jedi’s (Glenn Smith - Master Jedi. (POC) &Joyce Pagley - Jedi (padawan)) were dispatched to rescue Padme (Ayu Schraeder ) who was taken by an imperial biker scout (Matt Schraeder - Biker Scout) . While (even one) walking around the event center, we countered (Mike Dudash) Tusken Raider.

Our table was being guarded by imperial troops ranging from TIE Reserve/Crewman ( Tim Bentley), to a Stormtrooper (Mike Blaze ) and 2 Biker Scouts - (Allen Flick 1st TROOP) & Matt Schraeder.

Putting away the differences between StarKiller and GhostBase, we all alternated from staying by our table, to wandering the floor, and greeting people by the entrance.

Most patrons do not really pay that much attention to us, but some do ask for pictures (at least more ask the “dark side.” Going outside for cool air seemed to attract more people who wanted photos.
Bob, the event organizer, personally thanked all of us and invited everyone to come back in September.

A good time seemed to be had by all. Thus the Master Jedi & his young Padawan saved the queen & live another day to save the galaxy that is far far away. A very successful mission from everyone

With that said, there are a few things that I think need to be addressed.
1) Secure Changing Area is small for the number of attendees and our equipment. personally feel was too small for all organization personal who attended. It was great to have a restroom right there.
2) No bottle water was present. Needed to ask & Center was warm.
3) Props and sound an important part. The Tusken Raider had a sound box which drew attention and people wanted to see him. A sound track to play Star Wars music in the background, I think, would be a great help.
