I have metal flares for the leg part and getting ones for the belt but I'm just wondering should I rivet them in so they wont slide out or just a few of them so it looks the part? _________________ Hey need a photographer check out my portfolio page link in the website link.

I'd rivet them in so you don't lose them! |

I'm assuming at this point the metal flares are considered fine for top approval, or do you have to have wood ones like used in the original costume? |

I would definitely attach the flares to the belt/leg strap, you don't want them sliding out on you. Mine are attached with some wire that I inserted through the hole and then through the webbing and twisted the wire in place.
As for the belt flares, you can have as many as you want. You should have a full set of twelve belt flare loops (six on each side) but you can have a mix of empty and filled loops if you like. Or you can put in all twelve. It's your decision. _________________ B-wing Pilot - Jedi - Resistance X-wing Pilot - Temmin "Snap" Wexley

I got one more rivet question is there a way to rivet the parts don't show up in the front of the belts? _________________ Hey need a photographer check out my portfolio page link in the website link.

You'd have to put the flares onto the belt before you sew on the loops, I think, to be able to hid the rivets behind the loops. Then you'd sew on the loop strap over the flares. You could always sew them in place by hand after the loops are on, or use metal wire like I did. _________________ B-wing Pilot - Jedi - Resistance X-wing Pilot - Temmin "Snap" Wexley

Is there and alternative if I have put the loops in already and forgot to set the metal parts in? _________________ Hey need a photographer check out my portfolio page link in the website link.
