Greetings potential X-Wing pilots

I just wanted to share some pointers on things that you can do to speed up your clearance and make your costume that much more awesome!
These are only presentation pointers that i regularly see and can be referral points:

Blouse your boots
If your jackboots have buckles they don't need to be removed if we can't see them. Ensure theres a nice amount of blousing so buckles are hidden.

Chest Box height
The chest box height for Original trilogy pilots should ideally sit with the top of the box at the same height as the 3rd vest rib down from the top (1st rib after the gap)

Try and check that vest and chest buckles are centered
Please try and ensure both the buckle on the back of your flight vest and your chest box buckle is in the centre.
And also that your main webbing belt buckle is centered.

Tuck in and tidy any excess strapping
We see this a lot of the time, the chest box strapping should be trimmed so that there isn't a lot of excess strapping left.
The strapping can be secured behind the buckle using velcro.

Hose length and position
Your chest box hose should have a right angle connector on it, and is best positioned above the belt on the left hand side and roughly the same height as the bottom or middle of the chest box.

The hose it self shouldn't be overly long, and if its creating a big loop in front of you then it is probably too long.

If in doubt reach out to a pilot judge!
