So I already bit the bullet and purchased the following:

Face Mask
Boots
Gloves

And I've made the following:

Glie 44 (using the www.thingiverse.com files and making a few changes)
Holster

I ordered the not so good complete flight suit, vest and harness from costumebase as it was Tokyo Comic Con and I wanted to wear the mask for casual cosplay when not in my Imperial armor - sorry guys I've only just joined the rebellion/resistance.

Any tips and information you can provide me with would be a huge help!

Holster:

The mask is from the very talented Ann Maria Juanes!

I will need to add my own hairs so any recommendations on the type I should use and where to get it would be a huge help!

(He got those boots from a surplus depo - apparently belonged to a Deathtrooper TX19758. Laughing )

The proper ones actually arrived this morning! Are there any tutorials or advice on how people have weathered theirs?

The blaster was found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2020120

I then made my own mesh to the front to improve the accuracy of the model.

The weathering and finish of mine isn't done and I will give it a pass of bright titanium to give it that nickle finish.

As mentioned before the flight suit, vest and harness are from CosplayBase and honestly it all only just lasted the 3 days of Tokyo Comic Con, for the price it did its job and maybe a little more if any other informal events come up that I support but while I wait for my Spacey Wacey and Cospl88 gear to arrive it sufficed.

Looks like you've got a good start on things. Good luck. Smile

Is there anybody out there?

I was recommended to post my build here to get feedback and help regarding approval but it seems that it’s a dead forum.

I’ve submitted my photos all of them plus a link to this topic 19 days ago - no confirmation that my submission has been processed or even received no comments or feedback here - A bit of help from the community at large for somebody completely new to this Isn’t asking too much I hope

Yeah, unfortunately it seems like the RL forum has been pretty much dead for a while. I can't say that I know why but it's been pretty quiet here for some time.

Anyway, I think you did a great job on the suit. It looks good to me, you should be proud of it. Smile

The only thing I notice is that you might need to paint your holster, it looks like it's black (or almost black?) while it should be a dark grey closer in color to the belt, maybe a little darker.
