Hello, there.
So, when you cycle through a bunch of images from Episode 3 for reference, the fair nature of McGregor's hair color makes it a little hard to gauge the length of his beard on the cheeks.
From my own experience wearing OWK at troops, and in literally every other Jedi costume I wear, is that the general public doesn't really care how accurate the facial hair is...you're a bearded Jedi, you must be Obi-Wan.
But I would like to get closer to screen accuracy on this. If you're a trimmer guy, what beard trimmer length settings are you using, for the whole beard?
Gotta get that volume disparity between the goatee area and the rest right.

When I'm getting ready to go a big troop and want to go the distance or be a little more accurate (for my own benefit if no one else's), I'll grow the goatee part for a couple of weeks prior to starting to let the rest of my beard fill in. It gives it that glorious full center and slimmer outer beard, and is great for thoughtful chin tugging.
