Hey everyone. I recently purchased a full Besbin Luke costume from a member that had the Annovos costume. The pants go up my chest with suspender straps. I could not wear these around my waist and do the Degobah version due to how the pants are made. How do those of you who have Besbin Luke costume do the pants? I am considering taking the jacket and the pants to a seamstress for them to use them as a guide/pattern and make me a new set that would fit better and not have the pants up to my chest.

Thanks in advance.

The Anovos pants are modeled after the stunt version which went up to the chest on Mark. The reason for this was because the jacket was so high cut they didn't want the undershirt to be exposed during the duel.

The production team for the film made normal versions too where they sat on on the hips like regular pants. One of which used velcro to secure the bottom hem of the jacket to the waist band of the pants to give a seamless look.

Another version was made for Luke's costume when he is training with Yoda which were also like standard pants minus the velcro waistband. Likewise there were different versions of the jacket depending on if it was a stunt version, one without buttons and another with.

Thanks for the reply. It seems the course of action is to get separate pants for the Dagobah version.

This is one of the many original costumes made for the film, as shown in the excellent Star Wars Costumes book.

I did the something like this but without the velcro and had the tailor make the waist just a bit higher than normal and I keep them up with braces (or suspenders if you call them that).
