Ill put this placeholder here for a new R1 MP build. I have had parts for this for YEARS. I had a black vest once. No clue where it is now I have the leather parts I need to dye and finish. I have had TERRIBLE luck with dye so Im afraid to dye it and have it come out all wierd colors.
Ill get a shirt made. I have purchased three or four Navy shirts, and none match. Not even close. Ill go back and have it made from scratch like my Sqweems was, so the thing fits, it matches, and the cuffs are long enough
Ill use my boots Ive used on everything else, My modified DH17, and my trooper helmet. I MAY paint it grey for this. We will see.

Expect a long slow build on this one too. Everything has to wait for when I have money, and I took a huge pay cut when I got laid off.

Good luck with your built. My builts usually take one or two years to make them because of a lack of skill, lack of time, or sometimes a lack of funds. I try to make most items myself and also repurpose items that I do not need for other things to save money.

my wife got a pic of the grey pants i bought last year.
Ive been looking for regular PANTS, but once you go above 2x it seems to all be sweatpants, as if no one WORKS, just lounge around all day.

Now, I need to verify this, but arent R1 RFT pants set up with a much larger and lower leg pocket?

Maybe one day I can find a matching fabric. I really would like that more accurate pocket.
Ive been sitting here considering how to start the 3 upper pockets on the vest. The other pockets are just that, but my only thing is sewing that triple mag type pocket.
Ill play with some scrap and see what I come up with. I have the fabric for the vest already.
