We have several examples of republic-aligned Quarren. These include:

Qid Proko, a Jedi who survived Order 66
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Qid_Proko

Tundra Dowmeia, a Senator and one of the Delegation of 2000 who petitioned to end the war
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Tundra_Dowmeia/Legends

An unnamed Quarren Jedi from the comics
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Unidentified_Quarren_Jedi

Therefore, it would seem that, like most species, the alignment varies from individual to individual.[/url]

I don´t think it should be a problem. Although it is true that we see Quarrens very often in the position of "bad guys", there are also many examples of neutral of even Rebel sympathizing individuals, as Baris just shared.

As for the Quarrens on Trask specifically, we don´t have any reason to believe they were aligned to any side or that there would be any tension or conflict there between them and Mon Calamarians or humans. Seems more like regular neutral folk (although as we´ve seen, few individuals were problematic). So, just as Baris mentioned directly on the Trask Fisherfolk topic, I agree that they seem to be just like Jawas or Tuskens.

I would have to agree that Quarrens shouldn't be excluded from the Trask Fisherfolk as an option for the generic standard. As has been pointed out by others, there are several examples of Quarrens, Mon Cals and Humans all mingling as co-equals at the Trask docks. You can see in the background all three species working together. In the bar scene, you can see all three species to varying degrees sharing drinks and food. It seems clear that Trask community is diverse and folks generally get along well enough to work together.

Sure, that one Quarren crew attacked Mando but that was just one crew. I think this falls into a neutral category, much like the Jawas. Yes, they sometimes do bad things but are generally considered to be pretty neutral.

I agree with several others here. I think the Quarren are neutral like Jawas and Tuskens, we do not have evidence that all of them are bad, and we do see them interacting with the other species in a non-confrontational manner. Working side by side, eating/drinking/socializing together etc.
There seems to be a generic stock of clothing colors and styles available to the residents on Trask and it is different for each being, some look almost identical, but there are differences.
I would argue that the Quarren should be here and that the costuming for these generic characters can be a mix of the clothing and items we see in the Mandalorian episode.
And as has been pointed out by others, we do have evidence of Quarren who are not dark side or bad. Some are good, some are light side, some may be neutral.

Thank you for the sources! That was going to be my next question Smile

It seems you all are right and the Quarren should be added as well!

Not set in stone, but we are certainly doing all the research and taking in all of your sources which are VERY much appreciated!

Couldn't agree more.

The few 'bad' Quarren's on the trawler and the dock after its return, do not make all of them on the planet 'bad'.

I'd really like to see a broad generic standard made for the dock workers/fisher folk, with all the variations in race, clothing, boots, accessories spelled out.

The episode features 20 + characters that fall within these costume parameters. It would be a shame to limit the variety and scope of this rather fun and niche character group.

The Rebel Legion already approved a generic Quarren X-Wing pilot about two or three months ago so perhaps this question is a little late.

We have Quarren Rebel soldiers in EA Battlefront 1 and 2 as well as at least three Quarren New Republic technicians in Star Wars Squadrons. I made a couple of posts about aliens in RAID.

Thanks for that extra information PArmstr.

Brilliant source material and overall support for this hopefully new costume area.
