Darren Carman the Event Coordinator of Bluegrass Garrison has communicated that the invitation for this event has been extended to the local sister clubs to attend including Blue Moon Clan.

Secure changing area: unknown at this time but probably a parking lot change

Details: To help our children feel loved and appreciated this holiday season we will be holding a Holiday Parade on St. Joe’s campus. Participants will enter the campus via the Frankfort Avenue entrance and will follow the designated route in their decorate vehicles with signs of love and appreciation.

Please remember this is a PRIVATE event.

Individuals with pickup trucks that can haul troopers will be appreciated. Sound off below if you plan on attending and we can put together a plan for who rides with who later this week.

UPDATE:

We will be marching instead of riding in vehicles. The parade route is super short. Organizer has asked that we do not throw candy or anything to the kids. Holiday versions of your kits are good and even encouraged. 🎅🎅🎅

Please keep an eye on the weather. Right now there is a 70% chance of rain. If you’re kit is weather sensitive you might want to make a backup plan.

We will stage in the gym (red x) in photo. Parking is in the lot in front of gym (yellow arrow). Gym will be open and available at noon. Parade route is shown in (blue).

Cross posting: I have been informed that we have one confirmed case of Covid from an individual that attended the troop on the 12th. If you attended the troop. please quarantine for the recommended time frame that the CDC has published.
