Hello everyone,
I am stuck on dimesions about few pieces. I need approved dimesions of leg flares, belt flares, code cylinders and chest box. Costume standart doesn't give exact dimesions and i couldn't find dimesions on forum( I probably missed it). I couldn't trust the 3D models found so i will model myself. I will very glad if anyone can help me , thank you

Honestly, dimensions can vary some, based on the size and dimensions of the costumer. Like, one retailer of chest boxes makes a smaller and larger size, like with helmets, because frame of the costumer can make the boxes look odd if they are too small or too large on the chest.
That said, I can pull mine out and measure for you if you want. I'm about 1.7 meters tall and weigh about 155. I wear a "standard" size chest box and such. I'll measure mine if you think it'd help.
Leg flares and belt flares vary less. I made my belt flares out of dowel rods and cut them to the width of my belt. Same with my leg flares, actually - they were cut to the width of my leg flare holder. I forget where I found guides on how big to make them, though. _________________ It matters which side we choose. Even if there will never be more light than darkness... the leg flares were apparently cut broom handles, so in the 1 inch 25mm range. The belt flares are roughly 1/4" rod (8mm) . I used to cut down 1/4" aluminum rod stock and make flares all the time polishing them on my drill press. I would chuck them up and let them run, and sand the ends smooth with sandpaper and polishing grits. _________________ Once I was Dewka, but now I'm just G'nott sH'urr

Ah, yes, those are the diameters. I forgot about that measurement. I used 1" dowel rods for my leg flares, cut to the length that matched the height of my leg flare holder and then dremeled around the edge to make it not quite so squared off. And I used 1/4" dowel rods cut to the length that matched the height of my belt for my belt greeblies. _________________ It matters which side we choose.
