BRB Trading Card

I would really love to get some kind of approved trading card to hand out at events or give to kids, but reading the main thread about this is tedious and not very direct or helpful. Apparently there is a list of letter people like a PRO and a MO and etc to get approval. I just want a card of me that shows my how proud I am to be a member of the Blue Ridge Base and the Graveyard Squadron. Is there not just some template I can drop a photo into, get someone in BRB to say "okay" and then go to an approved printer? (those seem easier to find vs getting the card designed and approved!)
This just seems to be way more vague and complicated than it actually should be.

I would love base cards to hand out too. The biggest issue is finding someone within the base willing to design the card and do the photoshop work.

I'd love to have one design for the base so there is a standardized theme. Once we have the template designed. Approval of the template is easy and usually fast.

Its more of a lack of a designer willing or able to take on the project. If you have more questions please feel free to pm via the forum or through FB messenger (i respond faster through FB messenger).

Thanks, Steven. If I had Photoshop, I would do it. Unfortunately, I am pretty much a dinosaur in the art world- Publisher, Canva, and old fashioned paper and pencil!

We have talked about it for a while...its really on setting up a template that most will like to do the cards. We have the distributors to make the cards. I would need someone to help with the art for all the cards.

I have a *tiny* bit of Photoshop experience, about 15 years of using it professionally. I’d be willing to either design a template or two, or tweak anyone else’s that would be open to it.

I’d personally love to have more cards made.

Will definitely keep you in mind David. We are waiting to hear back on suggested ones I have done myself. Once we get a template down and approved. We can move forward and start taking submissions from everyone. I have lots of backgrounds collected already that I will be happy to share, once the design process starts on the base cards from the template.

From what most people are letting us know is that they want a full picture as they can on there of the background and of themselves, with base logos and detachments. Majority of the information will be on the back of the card.

Good News. We have been approved with the template. Just that, we as a base need to decide what we want on the back. So I could use some suggestions.

Option 1
Ghosted Blue Ridge Base logo so you will have a space to sign and write to fans

Option 2
Have facts of your service and different detachments that you are in. Leave a small space for signature at bottom like RL card.

I get the feeling this will move much faster and be easier on those who are inputing the images to the template to just have a ghosted background. Maybe if we ever choose to do a second run, that would be the time to gather submissions for front and back format. But if everyone else feels like the cards should have information on the back, I am fine with that, too. (I'm such a grey Jedi!)
