I considered doing a shoot in my snowspeeder gear last week, but not having power for three days and thus not being able to get warm after wearing inappropriate attire outside (I may be in TX now, but I have true winter gear from elsewhere, and snowspeeder ain't it) did not appeal.

Indeed. I got power back after 2.5 days, so I can't complain too much. And I didn't lose water. So many had/have it so much worse.

Looking good! I took my snowspeeder pilot out for a spin last week too.
I walked by my local comic shop and had the owner convinced he was having a stroke when he spotted a pilot walking through the snow across the street. lol

It was 18 degrees Fahrenheit out when I took those... Not the smartest thing I've done.

industrialsizeEd asked how hot my coat was when I got it. I told it it isnt at all since its just flag nylon and offers no protection whatsoever. I wore it for the BATZ event at the Baton Rouge zoo and it was a pretty warm day, but the coat was OK to wear (as my very first pilot troop!)

Only my hands were cold that day, this was made like a regular winter coat, because in Buffalo it's cold! And I have been known to just wear it out and about...

(Though must disagree on mine being a true winter coat. Mine is a winter coat for, say, an average cold day. For an actual cold day, I'll stick to my parka.)
