I've never actually seen a complete list that was canon. Is there one posted somewhere?

Not that I've seen yet and I've looked quite a bit. I'll probably do a bunch of frame by frame hunting of 1080p source material.

There's another vendor on Etsy with iron on rank patches who has a number of designs, but I'm not sure how Canon they are.

I have seen those. I thought of buying one myself but then I thought "I can do better".

I've already got most of those ranks displayed there as design files but I haven't yet confirmed their accuracy with what's on screen.

Or this guy's is pretty cool, but I can't quite make out the detail in the low res photo. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Ledick_Firest/Legends

I could do his fairly easily but I need to see a better shot to determine the symbols for the lighter color squares.

Let me know what you come up with! (PM, perhaps, so we don't further clutter this thread?) Our base is doing a big Hoth group build, so we can probably get you a few more sales, too. Smile

I would be interested in this type of badge for troops inside Echo Base

I wish we knew what they meant.

I have all 3 of those designs created and ready to make. I could do all 3 for you if you're legitimately interested. Was hoping to sell 1 or 2 Luke's first just to make sure there was an actual market before I went to crazy. Do you know how many you'd want? Feel free to PM me.

I would want the one on the right end. I am sure there is more interest out there. Try the facebook group Hoth Trooper Quilting Circle. People have asked about a good source for them.

Joined and posted. Thanks.
Also, I've put the other designs up for pre-order now.

Has anyone worked out a specific size that these should be, or are we just eyeballing the ratios, as compared to that top pocket flap?

I've added a new size variant to all the designs based on feedback to have a patch that was 2.5" tall.

* Large (Rogue One style) 4.65" x 3.25"
* Small (ESB style) 3.58" x 2.5"

Also Rogue One designs are available.

For the Hoth Hangar Trooper, what type of com pad is used for the left wrist?

They use the same gloves with the compad as the Trench Troopers wear.

Is that the same as the pilots use? Sorry to seem so dense but i cant tell from the pictures and it doesnt specify much more other than "compad" in the description. A search of Etsy doesnt turn up any Hoth Compads other than the tiny red square ones from from the tech.

No...they are not the same...

this is what they look like:

Phyllis, do you have a reference for the red and blue on that? I've looked and looked and I can't find one. Super hoping you can help.

Also, a couple of things to note/add:

The costume standards were updated in 2016.

The Hoth Hanger Trooper standard can be found here:
https://rebellegion.com/hoth-hanger-trooper-ep-v/

There are revisions to this standard and several other Hoth ones currently underway, and those discussions can be found here:
http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1018

For the gloves, we have auction photos to add to screen grabs and other official photos now.

For the vest, the officer detachment has a step by step guide:

RogueWic out of Sunrider Base is leading a week by week build along in the Virtual Build Party facebook group. As the files for each week are completed they will be uploaded to the linked google drive folder.

Week One: Gathering Supplies- Supplies are listed, described and some possible sources linked.

Week Two: Altering the Pattern - The process for altering the commercial pattern is described step by step in detail. Links to additional resources are also included.

NOTE: Week Three has adjustments to the neckline patterning and quilting directions. Look at all four weeks before beginning!

Week Three: Ready to Sew-Quilting the body, sewing the vest together, making the front pockets and comm badge window.

Week Four: Finishing Touches- Adding the collar, lining and finishing.
