Howdy!
My girlfriend is searching for Leia boots. Can anyone tell me if these boots will work?

Those look like a good option. You may want to check out this thread

http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=48763

It's about larger boot sizes but there are links to many boot options by a variety of sellers.

Hello Victor! I cant confirm for sure if they would be either way. Personally I would try and *aim* for less scrunchy look and look for a bit less suede.
Why: The issue with those boots is on the inside there is a zipper, pulling them up to appear less scrunchedis not an option so they always look floppy. Also the suede (white) gets dirty really fast and cleaning compared to leather or poly boots is a royal pain *mind the pun*.
Our standards also indicate they need to be leather which is a bit different from suede.

I Hope this helps!

Also found these from other threads:

Have members been approved with these (with the soles painted) and does it meet the current costume standard? (My partner generally doesn't wear heels)

http://www.toteunlimited.com/store/product.php?productid=16169&cat=407&page=1

My question is, is a 2" heel ok as far as the CRL is concerned?

Thanks,

Michael (Angelman).

There is a Leia costume that has a heel, but the one in the picture above has no heel.

Michael,
Tabitha is correct. For that reason, the first option (that you will remove the bow from) is the better one of those you've posted but I would recommend checking out the boot thread that is linked above. There are several good options mentioned there. Good luck!

The first one there is definitely the best. No heel is preferable, but low heels are accepted.

Yes, parroting in here. I like the first as well! Easy to remove. I sewed one of these last week. When we got to the boots I did the same thing youll need to. Cut a strap here and there! Support easy fix and it looks nice.
