Great news, my new boot topper is going to be shipped out on Thursday, so I can replace the broken one that I have.

I used some E6000 for the top of the boot (where the large hoop section of the boot topper is.) Since the claws are a really big challenge, E6000 would not hold them down. Instead, I sewed on velcro the the boot where the claws go and used stick-on velcro on the claws. It worked! Smile

the claws are well pronged down onto the boots. I'll post some pictures later

I just wanted to give everyone an update on this thread:

I noticed that my front plate is not as curved as my back plate. In fact, it's completely flat Sad

I contacted my kit maker about this. It turns out, he used to make them pre-curved, but stopped because many women were complaining that it had a gap between their tummy and the plate. Well, since my tummy isn't that flat (Lol) I told him that the pre-curved plate would be a lot better for me. This way, the edges of the plate wouldn't stick up as they do in some of my recent photos. I then tried on my pre-curved back plate just to make sure, and it fit me wonderfully. Like the pre-curved plate was meant to be there Very Happy

So, with that being said, my kit maker and I are going to do an exchange, I'm sending in my old front plate for a new one that is made with a slight curve like my back plate.

Then, I can finally submit this kit without any worries Smile

i know this post is forever old- but jan 2020 Mike is currently making this kit again! I ordered one a couple weeks ago and cant wait for it to get here! Once my full costume is complete i plan on doing an updated review/post about this amazing kit with pics since photo bucket doesn't work on here any more
