After further research, I have found that she does have at least a small wedge heel throughout the movie.
I was able to find wedge boots that I liked to use in making my Hoth boots.
Thanks Smile

I also found a very nice gray suede leather to recreate the tops of her boots/leg wraps as well at Tandy Leather locally. Smile

I took some close ups of mine Smile

I used 1.5 inch wedged gray boots and used gray pleather as the boot covers and straps. My boots and pleather were a little dark so I painted them a lighter gray (except I left the straps dark.) I first cut out the middle panel and hand stitched it onto the boot (this hurt my fingers lol.) Then I cut out the cover pieces and straps. I used velcro to attach the straps Smile

I wonder if you could spray those with some kind of flock to make them appear more suede'ish?

The first boots I bought were rejected by Rebel Legion, flat & too rucked - that color & style hard to find! So I found another gray boot with wedge heel & added gray straps (sewn then glued)
I looked to adding foam or wood to wedge the flatter boots but in the end just had to buy another pair!

If you wanted to go for 100% accuracy Liz, I would advise hemming and top-stitching the outer part of the boot covers. The tongue piece does not have any top stitching.

Although it's not specified in the standards, the boot straps on the original are a thin webbing strap, rather than more vinyl. You may want to upgrade to that as well.
