That's great news.

I know, I know! Razz

Here is a larger image of the mask below.

I bought the mask from Chris Stephens Creations in the UK. The turn-around time was fast (though, it may not always be so fast, depending on the project queue). It took a little over a week to cross the pond.

As far as the mask, color me impressed. The latex is sturdy and the paint job is very good. If you have an average-sized head, you'll have some wiggle room inside the mask. My melon is on the larger size, so it's quite snug. There is a slit in the back of the neck so make the wearing process a bit easier. If you're claustrophobic, then masks probably aren't for you. There are small holes in the ears, nostrils, with a little larger opening in the center of the mouth.

I've been thinking about getting one of these masks. Two questions for you: What do you think of the eye slits? and What are you doing for headgear?

Can you be more specific about your question on the eye slits? Are you asking about visibility? If so, it isn't a problem.

As far as headgear? Good question. I'll attempt to draft something up and use that as a pattern for a leather cap.

One thing to bear in mind which I found to my cost, is that the neck measurement of the mask can take you up a size for your boilersuit - though if you're good with a sewing machine you could possibly add a section in, to make the collar fit ... Very interested to see how you're getting on ! Falcon

That is a very good point, Alex.

When I'm wearing the mask, my neck is longer than the base model that was used to sculpt, so the masks neck/shoulder rests higher than mine, so I'll have to overlap and connect it in the back to compensate.

Any updates? I'm planning on starting either Ten Nunb or Nien Nunb here in DFW. Totally starting from scratch, any how to's around? How'd you make the chest box?
