I'm looking to build the full costume and I am wondering where is the best place to get the belts and boots from?

there's only one retailer left with liquidation stock on official "Museum Replicas" licensed replicas -- the boots and belt for Anakin III are less than 1/2 MSRP -- when they're gone they're gone -- last chance ever. etc etc.

also Dave@saberbelt can help you with a belt

The Museum Replicas boots may be accurate, but they are horrible quality. A friend's boots started to wear after two troops.

Claudio, aka Custom Props on ebay makes great belts, tabbards, and gloves.

You can check out JDOS boots, but it takes little over a year to get your boots in.

I have JDOS boots for my Anakin, and I absolutely love them. Be prepared for, as mentioned above, a lengthy wait, and spotty communication (he is, after all, only one guy, and there's only a certain number of hours in a day...)

yeah but the MR boots are $179 *shrug* you can almost get three pair for the cost of one JDOS.
granted, you get what you pay for, but I couldn't afford $450 + 12 months for boots. Confused

(I grabbed the MR boots a few months ago)
(they fit me great, they look awesome -- but to be fair.. I haven't actually "worn" them yet.
so far, I've only put them on a mannequin) Razz

(I also bought the MR belt/pouch set).

So I'm pretty much done with my Anakin, all I need are the boots and to find a scar. What boots would you guys recommend if you're in a pinch? How are those Amazon/eBay ones?

I have an order with JDOS but he says I'm looking at about a 7 month wait right now. Any "junk" boots out there that I can get away with for 2-4 wears/troops?
