Hey there everyone, I'm working on my Hera costume for Celebration (and my first RL submission) and I ordered Pam's new Hera-accurate lekku. I measured about 3 times and each time I came up with 21.5", so I ordered the large on her suggestion.

After pulling out a solid amount of foam, the lekku seems to fit... but it also keeps trying to escape off the back of my skull. I can't trim the front because if I roll it up even 1/2", the whole thing actually does manage to slide off.

Does anyone have any suggestions they could lob at me for how to fix this? Is there a way to make it smaller/tighter? Should I use spirit gum or wig glue? Is it because I don't have a wig cap currently?

Anything would be welcome, thanks Wink

Jen

I'm a little late to reply, but I have some of pams lekku. I use spirit gum or prosaide to hold mine on, and a hair net underneath. I don't have a head wrap for mine (I do Darth Talon), so you could use hera's wrap to help hold yours on more. I know a lot of twi'lek costumers like head wraps for that.
