District 6 Silicon Valley Comic Con Flag Raising & Proclamation

The District 6 Office and I would like to invite you to attend our Silicon Valley Comic Con Flag Raising & Proclamation on Tuesday, April 18th at 12:15 p.m.

P.S. Costumes are expected!

Time off was approved. I have off from 9:30am to 2:30pm from work, so I can only stay for the time frame listed on the forum. So I will be there. Sarah, Jedi & Leia can assist in being your eyes/guide. Or I can check with my roommate to see if she can come to be a handler for you. But I think she has classes on Tuesday's.

Great time at the event! Phil (6th District assistant) found us loitering in the area! HA HA! He showed us the room they had set up for people to change at. Lots more 501st showed up than what I had seen as signed up! But that was good. We had a great diversity of characters and made a most impressive entrance! Sun came out just at that time too! However, they had already set things up inside the dome due to the weather, so event was indoors. We then took group photos inside as well as outside in the sunshine! They had said we were welcome to stay and attend the proclamation in the assembly. But way too many steps and most everyone needed to leave. So I don't think anyone stayed for that part. I myself unfortunately, had to get back to work!

Can't wait to see all the photos!!

For safety reasons Chewbacca did not go to this. Plus with no sleep the night before I declined to go. Crying or Very sad

Safety first on all accounts. Glad we had RL presence!
