Greetings all. I'm also very interested in this CRL but the information is confusing. There's no Blue flightsuit maker available correct? |

None yet, we are hoping to see more details come from celebration. I think most people are just waiting for that. There are a few people who have talked about making suits, but i think the problem was finding the right material. |

Alright then, I'll wait for more information from Celebration. _________________ If you can't handle it, don't ask for it.

I was at Celebration all 4 days, didn't see a gorram thing about Blue Squadron.... References, costumes, anything. We will have to dig some more, seek out some behind the scenes folks I think. That and run with what we have from the VIS Dic and screen caps. I'm going to get some fabric samples from around, and start playing with a pattern for this suit soon. _________________ Generic Clone Wars-era Jedi

I was also holding out to see if there were any costumes on display at Celebration and couldn't find any. To my eye, that jumpsuit is made from a navy blue bomber nylon, and likely lined. The top stitching looks to be beige.
I'm still looking for fabric. Once I have some likely candidate(s), I'll post up here. _________________ Doug C

There were zero "New Movie" costumes on display at Celebration. I was quite disappointed that they did not have any.
Disney had some screen used (Jyn Erso Imperial Disguise) Rogue One at the Launch Bay in the park but no Blue Squadron suits. _________________ - Hawkbat Squadron - Sabre Wing - Western New York -

I picked up some nylon fabric yesterday. The first one is a light beige and the second is a slightly teal blue. I took photos of the fabric and compared to the screen caps. I think they will work. Both fabrics look different to the naked eye, compared to how the camera picks them up. I think it's due to the sheen. PM me if you'd like me to mail you a swatch.

Bumping to follow post. I am eager to make one as well. Great job, Ronan, on the chest box!
The material for the flightsuit reminds me of ripstop nylon I wore as a kid in Alaska on parkas and snowsuits. I'm researching now to see if I can find a similar color.

The nylon I picked up is pretty stiff and doesn't have the drape that I was hoping for. I bought some satin polyester fabric which I am backing with a batting -- like a snowsuit -- and having a go at it. I think the pleated sleeve detail will need to be made from an entirely different fabric. Still looking into that. Here's a progress pic...

OK now that Celebration is OVER!
I can get back to this. I know that IF we can get the fabric i know one of our gals who can do this!
So i will check in with her, yes she was at celebration too!
we were talking about doing a custom fabric run...which for as many of us that are interested might be a good idea. _________________ Rebel Legion: Mountain Base
