Are you doing a new costume that requires a 'standard' for the detachment?
Are you doing a current costume that already has a 'standard' and you would like to submit a revision for it?

If the answer is yes to either of the above then please copy and complete the below and submit back here by reply.

We will then process it through the CSC.

Please start your 'standard' with either:

There is no 'standard' for XXX so I wrote a new one. I'll post up with explanations and references.

There is a 'standard' for XXX, however, I'd like to submit a revision. I'll post up both the original and the revised in red with explanations and references.

(Please note that not all areas may be required for your costume and likewise you may have more, this is just a guide to what we need.)

1. Head area ie hats/hair
2. Head area ie eyes/facial hair/makeup
3. Upper Body area ie chest/shoulders/bust
4. Lower Body area ie torso/waist/arms/holsters/belts
5. Legs area ie trousers/skirt/dress
6. Footwear area ie shins/feet/boots
7. Prosthetics ie face/hands/feet

Each section should be described in detail including style/colour/dimensions/and include type of material. if something like 'only leather is acceptable' then state it. if 'no zips' then again please state it.

Below is an example standard for a Jedi costume, which I've picked as it has a lot of detail so our officer standards should be simpler in comparison.

1. White/light grey hair in a high bun. Bun should be twisted or similar. Braided buns are not allowed. Face should be framed by locks of loose hair next to the ears. There should be an off center part in the hair on the right side.

2. A white tunic and skirt in a low sheen material. The tunic is tucked into skirt and the shift from tunic to skirt hidden beneath the obi. The two can also be sewn together.
The tunic has a collar approximately 1½” / 3.5-4 cm wide and long wrist length sleeves with minimum flare.
The skirt should have some fullness to it and reach the ground.

3. A fitted white inner tunic or shirt cut closely to the neck. Can be a dickie. No t-shirts allowed.

4. A pair of white tabards, reaching just below the knees in front and stopping at the obi in the back. The tabards should extend just past the shoulders. The tabards must have the geometric design seen in the game.

5. A white obi with the same geometric design as the tabards. The obi must have an obi bow in the back.

6. White boots. No spike heels or visible adornments.

7. Silver colored plain lightsaber hilt. If bladed the saber must be blue.

Optional:
1. Dark red matte lipstick.
2. Light grey/white eyebrows.
3. Blue eyes/lenses.

This section is for anything else you believe will assist on a decision or you think better represents what is seen.

References:
please attach the reference pics relating to the standard.

By completing this it does not mean the standard will be agreed or implemented. what it will do, is form the start of the process and we can start a discussion thread for the costume which will be stage one. when the detachment is happy with the standards discussion that there will be no further amendments, we will put to the vote which will be stage two. when the voting closes we will submit the agreed standard to the CSC which will be stage three.

Any questions please ask, thank you
