Greetings!

recently started working on Duchess Satine Kryze ceremonial dress.
Very happy with purchased blue fabric (10 meters should be enough Razz)

Now gathering other materials and doing research how others did this.

Traced ornaments of forehead piece.

Next in plans learn resin casting gems and earings.
Want try mixing in some glow in dark pigment
This costume will take some time.
Still strugling find needed green fabric, will try dye it myself.

Progress so far with help of my friend
I'm not very skilled at sewing, better work with painting, cuting, sculpting and glueing:P

So many pins! ouch!

Could not find needed green fabric so dyed it myself.
Also aquired blue velvet shoes. Not very comfy but colour 100% match.

So far, so good. Smile I know all about having to dye something yourself. It's a challenge to get the right colors. Razz

How are you doing the trumpet shape in the bottom? Wire, petticoat?

Thinking use wire, covered in fabric to make look like lilies stems and wrap arround hair locks.

Here close ups of hairdo under that lyra piece.

Nice shot there without her lyre headpiece. I think wire will be useful for those lilies.

I think what Lora was asking about was the bottom trumpet shape of the dress. Have you figured out how to keep it flared?

I was struggling find suitable fabric for two front petals.
One fabric I got was too shiny, so again had grab dyes and make second more matt looking fabric. Think it suits more.
Found right colour small tassels, now left make big ones.

Meanwhile my friend helped make skirt petals.
I don't have defined waist, so petals a bit padded to make that curve.

Progress looks good. The skirts are definitely a challenge with this costume.
