I'm in the process of acquiring/researching the other requirements for the costume, but the biggest piece is the jumpsuit, which I'd like to try to get started soon since I assume it'll take a lot of time (and tears).

I asked around and acquired the McCalls M7269 pattern as a base. I'll need to do a ton of altering to it, but it's a start.

I also picked up the Yaya Han 4-way stretch from JoAnn's.

So my big question is about whether the fabric is right or not.

Less big, but still really important question is whether anyone has tips or tricks for sewing this thing. I've never worked with stretchy material like this before and I don't want to mess it up.

Thanks!

Not sure on the fabric for a match, others could say.

LadyB recommends tear-away paper for sewing stretchy stuff to keep it in line and from bunching.
