just out of curiosity, what color is the visor?
I like the idea of the helicopter visor, but it looks almost black unless it is just the lighting.
Reference photos and standards has it as an olive green.

love the work on the shin guards and the rest. looks good

It's the correct green sorry it's just the lighting and I didn't paint it a matt color as I wanted to still be able to see out the visor, well at least see the world in a foggy green shapes lol but a little vision is better than nothing.
I will still do more work on it like better paint details like the texture on his mask but just rushing to finish for an event this Sunday.

Making accurate aluminum comlinks for Star Wars Rebels, having help from one of the RDD2 droid builders members.
Going to make it a 2 way walkie talkie.
Comlink model is done can screw off both silver sections, blue parts in the model will be painted in a anodized black. Open mesh section at the top for speaker and mic input and output and a hidden button on the bottom.
Still designing comlink clip for Kanan's belt should also be ok for other Rebels costumes too. All references have been taken from the show and other Disney promotional pictures.

Some updates with my season 1 Armor. Straps and paint work will be completed this week end. I will also trim the goatee for season 1 also.
Shirt is still being made.
Payment for prototype metal comlink has started. Making a custom pcb soundboard it will be good for comlink and blasters or anything else you need sound on for push and play.

Oh forgot to add trimmed season 3 beard looks a lot better now, foam head really helped.

It's all looking great! I'm going to have to use the helicopter visor idea when I get around to this build; it looks excellent.

So working on knee pads just need to do last few coats with a gunmetal to get lighter then the black. Also progress on shirt, will change the brown out just used as practice material. Using black threading on the panels to make them pop more just like references.

Finished knees, gun metal looks darker in person gives correct contrast to the triangles and the black 2” band.

Almost finished shirt just fixing collar making a little more of an angle and making the grey triangle bigger.

Very close just a few more touch ups and fixing small things I feel don’t look correct. Closer to finish the season 1 as I am remaking shin guards for season 3 in PVC I have changed the way I am making it so will look a lot better.
