Hi to everybody! My name's Daniela and i'm italian. I'm passionate of Star Wars saga since 2 years ago. I decided to impersonate Mon Mothma. These are photos of my costume. I'm asking you tips for any changes to have a future approval. Thank you all.
Daniela

welcome! I think your costume is great overall- it appears to me that the chords are a little bit long on you when compared to visual reference. I also think a bit more of the brown sleeves could show. I can't see you boots but the CRL is here for you to read/reference

I also think there are a few problems with your inner chord/pendant, this thread has some nice references of the screen used costume

Thank you for your advice.
The brown sleeves are longs enough under the tunic....i only need to let them out: i will make a new photo to show them. About the inner chord/pendant i have seen the photo in the link you posted.
I'm agree with you about the outer chord's lenght: i will make them shorter proportionally. But i would like to better understand the problem with my inner chord/pendant:
1) Is the pendant shape good?
2) Should i replace the chord with one similar to the photo of the link http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i184/granny-wan/RL%20-%20GSC/References/MonMothma/necklace.jpg
(I see a composite chord- a bigger one like the outer chord but a little bit smaller plus a three-twisted one- Is it right?
I hope in your precious help.
Thank you very much.
Daniela

I would say your pendant looks a little on the big side. the biggest problem is the black seems very dominant and to more closely match reference the dominant chord should be grey with a white, gold and black as complimenting it. It also seems like the gold and grey could better attach to your pendant than the black which stands out harshly. This is just my feedback, I am not an expert at the costume by any means but hope it helps!
